Cancelled Shows: Due to an ear and throat infection
Due to an ear and throat infection, India.Arie has been advised to cancel
some of her upcoming tour dates with John Legend. Those dates include: St.
Louis, MO on June 30th and Robinsville, MS on July 2nd. The Grammy Award winning Arie just returned from her own 3 month headline tour followed by a video shoot in Hawaii with David LaChapelle. Doctors are telling Arie she really needs to rest until her voice and throat heal properly. She plans to re-join Legend on July 5th in Atlanta.

India, I am the founder of an organization for teen girls in Saint Louis, MO called SistaKeeper Empowerment Center, we bought over 100 girls to see you on the levee in 2006, we bought tickets to see you at the fox, and then heard you were ill, our girls were devastated, we were able to refund our tickets because we let them know, YOU were the only reason we were bringing our girls. We empower girls ages 8-18 and our theme song is "beautiful flower", you inspire us to see from within! We just want to say thank GOD! your feeling better and today we hear your coming to the pageant on 9/30th, God willing, as many girls as possible that can come will be there, standing in the YELLOW! I'm so sorry that you are feelig very well. I pray that you feel better really soon. I love your music and I was looking forward to seeing you in concert tonight in St. Louis (an early birthday gitf to myself). I missed you in 2006 in St. Louis, so tonight's concert was like a dream for me to finally see you live. I understand that things happen so take care of your health. Wow! What a bummer!! My mom and I got tickets to this show specifically to see you. I saw you at Live on the Levee in 06' and you were awesome. We love your music and were very disappointed to see that you wouldn't be performing at the Fox tonight. We actually refunded our tickets because we don't really know much John Legend and we were really there to see you. Hope you get well soon and can't wait until you come to St. Louis again.

Wow, a little shook Very sorry that you are ill, and will not make to the show in StL. My wife and I got tickets knowing that you where going to be here and not John Legend. My wife wanted to sell the tickets back cause she wasn't going to see him but you. We are from Columbia Mo. and we saw you here in I think it was 03, around the time Voyage to India came out. It was funny my wife said that she wanted to just invite you over for dinner or something, just feels you are cool people. We also saw you in StL at the free show under the Arch in 06. You are going to be very much missed in StL tonight. But I like to think as cool of people that we think you are if at all possible you would have made it. It's funny someone you have never met feels like family. I was listining to a song on the cd, the one before this one and was moved by the song that I guess your grandmother or greatgran was on.
